Eastgate : Building Materials Ltd

At the Falcon Street (college) end of Eastgate, and next to the Drill Hall, stood the premises of Building Materials Ltd (no.13), a dwelling (15) next to the building, at the junction. Now demolished and used for private parking. This image dates from the 1960s: note the cars. Also see 'Barnsley Streets', v.4, p.159.
