Eldon Street (S.side) : Three Cranes Hotel
The Three Canes Hotel can be seen on the left side of the image, its 'Barnsley Brewery' associations prominently displayed above the central entrance. The inn had recently undergone a rebuild : see EGT497 for an earler view. And in c.1930 thesite underwent a major reconstruction. Also see pp.92-93 of vol 4 of 'Barnsley Streets'.
