Eldon Street (S.side) : F. Batley
Frederick Batley, fruiterer, occupied number 3 (late re-numbered to number 70 from 1895-1915, succeeded by another fruit and veg man, J.H. Greenwood. This was at the corner with Queen Street. The Coach and Horses Hotel can also be seen in the distance, overlooking Peel Square and the bottom of Market Hill.
