Market Hill : E.side: Kings Head Hotel's royal tribute

Image

The Georgian Kings Head Hotel looks grand, people spilling out onto the pavement and the frontage bedecked with royal tributes, probably relating to the proclamation of the King, George V, in 1910. A flagpole over the hotel entrance has bunting attached to it and a GOD SAVE THE KING banner stretches along the upper front of the building.
