Market Street: West side : M. Lowrance & Son

Well-known ironmongers M. Lowrance & Son's premises at 'number 1' in the 1950s. Lowrances had established their business in Barnsley from the 1850s, their original shop at the corner of Market Street and Peel Square. This was their new, smart looking premises.
