Looking up the upper west side of Market Street, this 1960 image featuring the BBCS kitchenware & accessories store, number 31, with its upper windows blocked. Note the signage: 134,000 MEMBERS ENJOY CO-OP TRADING FACILITIES. Can you still remember your Co-op Dividend number? Bernard's shop is just on view on the extreme right of the image. It was in the 1960s a relatively quiet street at times, with little traffic.
