Market Street : BBCS handbags & Cock Chicken

Clearly some kind of celebration was taking place when this photograph of the upper east side of the street took place in 1960. The Co-op handbag shop (number 24) is an example of the amazing array of specialist shops/departments that they had in this area and next door at 24A was its 'Cock Chicken' shop.
