New Street (view 74) (New BBCS Grocery)
The BBCS Co-op grocery store was built on the site of the old Trafalgar Hotel, by the side of the entrance to Albert Street. This image dates from about 1961 when 'self-service' facilities were introduced in many the larger and more modern stores.
