New Street (view 76) (Globe Bingo)

Image

The Globe Cinema went the way of many others in the 1960s, converted for use as a bingo hall. Television had had a great impact on film going, attendances dramitically reduced. Bingo was a very popular alternative. This image dates from 1966.
