New Street (view 93) (shops 1,3 & 5)

An early view of shops 1, 3 and 5 New Street, when the properties – not yet open for trade – were probably decked in honour of a royal occasion in the early 1900s. Notice the 'cobbled' ie stone-setted surface of the street.
