Eldon Street North : 1914 tram crash (view 1)

Disasters of various kinds were popular subjects on picture postcards. This spectacular example shows the aftermath of a runaway tram that crashed into buildings on Eldon Street North on 2 December 1914, resulting in injury to at least seven passengers.
