Barrels probably from Clarkson's Brewery being delivered to the Industry Inn, Baker Street. Mid nineteenth-century beer retailers. First known occupant was Richard McCann in 1865. Licensee John Hudson is described as a beer retailer here in the 1930s as was Henry Jackson his predecessor. A full listing of former publicans in Vol 2 of Barnsley Streets. Stone-fronted facade with prominent 8-10 paned windows and sign capable of illumination. Formed part of the upper or northern area of the Barebones, a working-class, weavers' community.
