Another wonderful view of one of the most enterprising shop fronts in Barnsley (also see EGT079): Harvey's smoking emporium – and maybe it's Harvey who has positioned himself in such a precarious position: but a great publicity stunt. The fashions of the ladies in the doorway suggest an early date, certainly pre 1900.
