A slightly later view of the new parade of shops shown in the previous image. The 'bubble' car in the picture helps date the picture to the mid 1960s. Wonder how quickly the upper floor office areas were leased. This was typical 1960s architecture in Barnsley, hardly sympathetic to the setting.
