Peel Street (12) : South side : The Ritz Cinema shops

A small parade of shops associated with and built at the same time as The Ritz provided cinema-goers with convenient refreshments : sweets, tobacco and food and drink.The owners were not slow in appreciating the value of this 'supplementary' trade when the building was designed.
