Peel Street (19) : South side : Tom Horsfield's
In 1964 when this image was taken Tom Horsfield the florist (and garden supply shop) occupied number 28 and remained in business there until 1973. The upper storey was occupied by the Yorkshire Mutual Trading Company – and note the distinctive and large 'always right' clock.
