Regent Street : County Court

Blackened by smoke and grime in c.1961, the County Court building is here viewed directly from Royal Street. The use of 'Royal' and 'Regent' as street names may relate to the royal visit to Barnsley and the 'Royal Hotel' (White Bear) in the mid 1830s.
