Image

As it was in 1960. The Court House Station frontage remains one of Barnsley's better surviving mid Victorian buildings, latterly adapted to usage as a public house. Originally used for legal proceedings and inquiries, the Court Housewas used as a railway station for almost a hundred years before later conversions. The latter included dancing schools and public houses.
