Sheffield Road (East side) : Whitehead's (3) & Wood
A more modern image showing Whitehead's millinery shop at 6-8 and next door at 10 R.W.Wood's small tobacconist shop can be seen; next to it at 12 was another draper's, G.F. Wood's, here from 1914 to 1952. This shop also occupied number 10 prior to the tobacconist taking over.
