Wellington Street (west side) : Philip Dante
Philip Dante had a long-established tailor's business at number 7, offering a variety of services from repairs to complete custom-made suits. He functioned here from 1949 to 1982, next to the Theatre Royal. The large signs at first floor level, over the window, look a little tired but still had impact on the facade of the street in the 1960s.
