Dodworth Road (north side) : Cranberry Inn (93)
The Cranberry, at number 81 and then re-numbered as 93, shown here in 1972 with its white rendering, was then a Barnsley Brewery owned pub, the Barnsley Bitter sign clearly visible aboce the central doorway. The ground-floor windows on the right of the door are divided into three sections, allowing a light roomed interior facing the streetscape. The buildings that form this part of the street are very well built of stone and form a pleasant short parade on the north side.
