Barnsley Streets

“Barnsley Streets” is a unique series of books. They contain information and photographs of local businesses and local people showing how the centre of Barnsley developed. Edward Tasker, a professional photographer and accomplished local historian, researched and photographed Barnsley business premises and the people who occupied them. His work is continued by members of the Tasker Trust.

This record of social history provides an excellent tool for anyone with an interest in Barnsley and its economic development.
